All of them are old. A couple of Pentium IIs, a Pentium III, and two Pentium 4s.
I also got a free laptop (my uncle gave me all this stuff). The laptop I’m gonna sell, but the desktops... I’m not sure. I want to keep at least one of the Pentium II/III ones for retro purposes. The P4s, I am currently installing + updating Windows on them. They only have 512mb RAM each but I am thinking maybe just donate them to a church or find an organization that will give them to someone who needs them.

I’ve got a 2GB (4x512) DDR 400 kit if you want it. I’ll stick it in the mail for ya. (It’s no use to me now.) hit me up at username@gmail.

You could have one, but shipping would be insane.

Ive got a wicked dual P3 Xeon rig with 1.5gb of RAM. The 90's had awesome things.

That’s awesome. I had a dual pentium II motherboard complete with SCSI connectors but it died many moons back. :/
I’m kinda glad though in a way, today we don’t have to deal with jumpers and DMA configurations...

Nothing wrong with the Pentium 4, the P 3s and later are recycle fodder at this point. I used to mess around with old computers but I have decided my time is better spent messing around with old Jet Skis and Boats.

Dem Door Stops. In all seriousness I recycled my old dell PIII through a program with the city where they recycle old electronics. I can’t see how these would work in todays world. I have a really old mac book 1ghz with 512 ram and it will barely open yahoo, will it really won’t open yahoo, maybe a kinja sub blog.

See if any of your local school districts have donation programs. Those Pentium 4 computers are still great for word processing, presentations, and some light web browsing (all things a grade school age student could use). My school district had a program called Angel Network, which a friend of mine and I donated several computers through.
Also, you can try contacting any of your old teachers/faculty to see if they know anyone who could use a computer. We keep in contact with an ESL teacher who requested a computer for a student, and now donate directly through her.
As for the PII/PIIIs - I spy two Dell computers circa 1999, and is that a circa 1998-2000 Gateway behind them? Those could all make great retro machines*. They won’t have much practical use besides tinkering and playing with them, but that’s most of the fun anyway. I would be interested in one or two, but shipping would be ridiculous. Worst case, you could probably part them out. The vintage computing market is surprisingly healthy, and some parts are almost impossible to find.
*Unless the one I think is a Gateway is a Gateway Essential. I have one of those, and it doesn’t really have any redeeming qualities.

I can use one of the older systems for retro gaming/programs. No way I’d use it to surf.

The old ones are fun for older games and programs... MIDI stuff too.
There was a free 20' boat on my local CL a while ago... it’s not there anymore. :(
Nice work on your restorations though

Yeah they are pretty nice machines and they all seem to be in working condition. The Pentium II/III ones I plan on keeping and the P4 ones I’ll send off to charity or donate them.
The PII/III ones have ISA slots! \o/

Pentium III on Windows 2000 does fairly well on internet, as long as it's wired. It’s terrible on wireless.

That “Free Boat” will end up being close to $10,000 by the time I’m done. But I will have a fully restored boat with 0 hours for what I could have paid for one that would need everything I’m doing in a few years.

I dream of finding a 90s era pentium II or III chassis and building an x99 mini itx
